Summary
of my background

the internet was still something I only read about in science and technology magazines. At that time, my dream was owning a CD-ROM drive. To install software, I had to physically carry my hard drive or rely on copying data onto dozens of floppy disks.
Soon, I managed to install programs like AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, Lightwave, Photoshop, and CorelDraw. Exploring the sample files, I eventually chose AutoCAD and 3D Studio Max as my primary tools. Navigating through the intricate menus and toolbars highlighted their complexity. Fortunately, the "HELP" section provided detailed guidance, leading me to start meticulously studying with a dictionary and notebook at hand. Simultaneously, my father introduced me to programming with a Q-Basic textbook.
IN MY CHILDHOOD
my fascination began the first time I saw "computer-generated" imagery in films watched on videotapes. I was deeply captivated by the wireframe visuals in "Tron" and the virtual reality concept presented in "Lawnmower Man."
This curiosity turned into excitement when, during a visit, I played "River Raid" on an Atari console, realizing the virtual world could be interactive. However, I had to wait until the age of 15, when I got my first computer, to truly dive into this world.

DURING MY HIGH SCHOOL YEARS
IN UNDERGRADUATE YEARS
computer use in architectural education was limited to a few elective courses available only in the final year. Therefore, I applied my 3D modeling skills in other fields, such as media and gaming.
From 2000 to 2003, while studying architecture, I worked on creating overlay advertisements for live football broadcasts. Additionally, I took freelance projects online, providing 3D models for various gaming companies. Towards the end of my undergraduate studies, I also contributed to PYTHA-CAD, a smart object-based Architectural modeling software, offering post-sales training and library creation services for its Turkish distributor.
IN MY MASTER’S DEGREE
program, I combined my interests in 3D modeling and programming, diving into Parametric Design and Generative Algorithms. It was also during this period, around 2007, that I was introduced to the emerging field of BIM (Building Information Modeling).
Moreover, I witnessed and began using Grasshopper right from its inception, a tool that continues to significantly assist me.

IN MY PROFESSIONAL CAREER
I consistently leveraged coding and automation processes in design and presentation phases, significantly enhancing my productivity. At the outset of my career, BIM was not yet widely known or utilized, compelling me to independently integrate these advanced tools into my workflow.
As BIM started gaining recognition, even becoming mandatory in certain regions, I played a key role in establishing the BIM department at TAV Construction. I led teams in applying BIM methodologies across all company projects and bid preparations. Besides managing project implementation phases, I also integrated BIM with Facility Management software and developed simulations using Unreal Engine for VR and PC applications.
Entrepreneurial Period
I co-founded COMAS BIM Solutions, delivering solutions to complex issues on numerous international projects through BIM and Generative Algorithms. During this period, leveraging emerging AI technologies, I developed scripts, applications, and plugins that streamlined processes
You can see on Professional Works page to get details about the projects involved.

TODAY
I am pursuing a path that allows me to utilize my accumulated knowledge and experience more comprehensively and holistically.
I aim to integrate and elevate my skills in Revit, Unreal Engine, 3ds Max, and coding with Python, C#, Grasshopper into a more holistic and synergistic practice.
